Found this amazing video about the Renault 2.0 CDI, then I realized that it’s pretty much the same thing as the new 2.0 TDI engine in the 2009 and newer Volkswagen Jetta/Golf TDI’s. There are a few mechanical differences (timing chain vs. timing belt), but this is pretty much the most amazing computer-generated animation I’ve seen.
